Working on the Nursery

Fabric from Finland found in the back of my grandmother's closet. Plan to staple it around a wood frame, like a canvas, and hang in the baby's room.

Awful window treatment will be replaced by wooden blinds that match the floor.

Our new crib and changing table from a sweet great auntie.  They, as well as the desk and chair, will probably be stained to match the rocking chair.  The fabric in the crib will become his blanket.  :)

I'm also going to dig up one of my mom's many spider plants to have as a hanging plant in his room.  I'll post more pictures when we get things painted and set up.

So excited!

Hi Cheri! Thanks, I'm kind of in love with that fabric myself. When he gets a little older it's going in my room. :)

Oooo! So neat. I love the radio in the background, too. Nursery plans are so much fun. It's the one chance you have to a room for your child. Once they are a bit older they start having their own ideas about their rooms! :-)
